Assisting You Through Homelessness
If you're concerned about homelessness and are over 16, we're here for you.
We can guide you through housing matters, welfare benefits, and other homelessness-associated challenges.
Book an appointment at our Haverfordwest office, or reach out to us through our contact form or a quick call.
While we're not a 24/7 service, we strive to be your reliable support system during our working hours.
Our experienced team is dedicated to confidential, empathetic assistance.
BOND CERTIFICATES
Our scheme facilitates access to private rented accommodation via a 'damage only' bond guarantee up to an agreed limit.
Applicants undergo an interview and assessment before being considered for our Adult Bond Certificate Scheme.
If unsuccessful, we will guide you towards alternative schemes available from the Local Authority.
CRISIS INTERVENTION
Our crisis intervention service is designed to prevent imminent homelessness.
We offer assistance in situations like illegal eviction, landlord/tenant disputes, and rent arrears.
We also provide legal advice or mediation with relevant parties when necessary. A daily Duty Worker is available to aid with crisis intervention.
DEBT GUIDANCE
We understand the financial strain homelessness can cause.
Our team offers debt guidance and conducts financial assessments before securing accommodation to ensure affordability and identify potential obstacles.
Depending on individual circumstances, we may also source additional financial aid.
WELSH GOVERNMENT AND PEMBROKESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL SUPPORT
Our mission to combat homelessness wouldn't be possible without the significant financial contributions from the Welsh Government and Pembrokeshire County Council. Their steadfast support allows us to maintain and expand our services, addressing the multifaceted challenges associated with homelessness.
These funds enable us to provide essential resources like bond certificates, crisis intervention, and debt guidance, and support our vital outreach services for rough sleepers. This financial assistance plays a crucial role in ensuring that we can continue to help individuals navigate their path back to stability.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Welsh Government and Pembrokeshire County Council for their commitment to mitigating homelessness in our community. Their support is a testament to the power of collective action in creating change and improving lives.
