Politicians Welcomed To PATH Office
In our goal to raise awareness of the homelessness problem in Pembrokeshire, we have welcomed local politicians to our office this month.
Firstly we were delighted to welcome Eluned Morgan MS, Minister for Health and Social Services; Cllr Marc Tierney, County Councillor for Narberth Urban; and Henry Tufnell, Labour MP candidate for Mid & South Pembrokeshire.
We then had the pleasure of welcoming Stephen Crabb MP to our office two weeks later.
During both meetings we shared the figures of the rising homelessness problem within the county, the challenges that we face from funding, but also the positive news about our success in securing funding for our new Numeracy Project and expanding our Mental Health Counselling.
As an organisation we are always happy to engage with any politicians regardless of party on our mission to combat homelessness. As our ambitious projects progress, we will be continuing to engage with local and national politicians on a regular basis, as well as working closely with our partners at Pembrokeshire County Council.
